Photo & Content Copyright

While I will not go into the technical details of copyright laws, as anyone can use their search engine to find reliable source information regarding copyright laws, I would like to stress that just because it is free to view (on the internet), it is not free to take and use without express written permission!
This applies to photos and content (text).

After repeatedly discovering instances of bandwidth theft (hot linking), photo theft and even content theft (reproduction of article without permission), I felt it important to create this web page to stress that it is ILLEGAL to take and use any content from a web site that is not your own, without express written permission from the copyright holder.

PHOTOS - The copyright owner is the person who took the photo. This may or may not be the owner of the horse in the photo. The majority of the photos on this site were taken by the owner of the subject horse. I have worked very hard to be sure that I have proper permission to use the photos on this site, and I am extremely grateful for the generosity of those horse owners and photo owners!

CONTENT - Unless otherwise quoted, all content (text) on this web site is my original work. I own the copyright, and as the copyright owner, my written permission must be obtained before it may be reproduced (print or internet) elsewhere. Visitors have permission to download any PDF articles for their personal viewing/reading, of course. But reproduction (print or internet) requires my express written permission, and may possibly require compensation.

How to Obtain Photo Permission: If you do see a photo on this web site that you would like to use for a specific purpose, please contact me using one of the email links at the bottom of this page and I will gladly forward your request to the owner of the photo/horse, so that you can get legal, written permission from the owner of that photo.

How to Obtain Content Permission: If you would like to reprint/publish any article that I have written and presented on this site (or any of the site content) in a club newsletter, breed journal, or any other type of publication, you may contact me directly using one of the email links at the bottom of this page. Compensation may be required.

Thank you!
