Saint Claire (Kat)
Buckskin Morgan mare

Kat was sired by the smoky black stallion, Black Panter. His sire was the well known double cream dilute (perlino or smoky cream), Chingadero! No proven duns have ever been produced from the Chingadero line.

Typical of these bloodlines, Kat is often a rich, orange-gold buckskin, rather than the caramely-red tones of a bay dun or peachy-red tones of a dunskin. And she also had seasonal sootiness. During the seasonal sooty stages, she would develop a dark sooty brown counter shading dorsal, and leg markings on the front of her hocks sometimes. Once the shedding process was completed in the spring, her counter shading dorsal and leg markings were gone.
